Sunshine coast is characterized by beautiful beaches, expansive coastal views and rich fertile soils in the hinterland. Many World and Australian-renowned beaches are located at Noosa Heads, Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba, Coolum and Kings Beach in Caloundra. There are popular surfing areas along the beaches and headlands.

Due to its proximity to the beach, the Sunshine Coast has a strong beach culture. Many surfers live on the coast, with beaches such as Mooloolaba famous for their cleanliness and large waves. There are numerous skate parks on the Sunshine Coast, with one of the most popular being at Alexandra Headland.

The Sunshine Coast is a centre for tourism, containing attractions such as Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, UnderWater World marine park, Aussie World with the Ettamogah Pub, The Buderim Ginger Factory, Big Pineapple and the Majestic Theatre.

This region is home to more individual national parks than any other region in Queensland. The natural biodiversity of the area has been protected by five separate parks in both coastal and inland regions, including Mapleton Falls National Park, Kondalilla National Park, The Glasshouse Mountains National Park, Noosa National Park, and the Great Sandy National Park, which includes sections on Fraser Island and in Cooloola near Rainbow Beach.

Ocean and River Kayak Adventure - Noosa

Join our Ocean and River adventure and kayak the protected Noosa coastline. Along the way we will explore Laguna Bay and Little Cove before heading back into the Noosa river to see stingrays, water birds and wildlife.

Why not try some kayak surfing and kayak sailing techniques. A hearty morning tea at half time breaks up our leisurely pace.

We have been operating guided kayak adventures in the Noosa area for over 10 years. All staff are professional guides and instructors. All kayaks and equipment are less than 12 months old and include comfortable backrests and rudder systems. All kayaks are fitted with a unique sail system to make that journey home a truly relaxing experience.
